Dr. Andrysco received his PhD from the combined Colleges of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Behavior, and Human Psychology at Ohio State University.

Dr. Bob's career has focused on working with pets and their owners to foster healthy relationships. From 1982-93, he was president of Pet Behavior Specialists, a nationwide consulting service for pet owners. As Director of Companion Animal Services (1983-1985), Dr. Andrysco managed a program that trained, delivered, and supervised the use of pets with those individuals living in retirement and nursing care communities. As Director of Behavioral Services (1985-1987) for the VOCA Corporation, he was responsible for managing a program that used pets to assist in the delivery of various therapies for mentally and physically handicapped adults.

Dr. Bob is also experienced in the development and marketing of electronic training products and educational products for pet owners. As president of FutureTech,1990-1993, he was responsible for new product development and the marketing of these products. From 1993 to 1996 he was the President of Talking Pets, Inc. Dr. Bob oversaw the manufacture and distribution of educational products for pet owners including books, CD-ROM's, video tapes, and consultation services. From 1994-2000, Dr. Andrysco worked as an official spokesperson for PetSafe Training Systems, a manufacturer of electronic pet training products and pet doors. He currently has a position as a Pet Behavior Specialist for Veterinary Centers of America.

Dr. Andrysco is author of Tricks I Taught My Master, an in-home training guide for dog owners, the forthcoming Complete Guide to Electronic Training For Dogs, as well as numerous articles and other publications.

He has frequently been featured in the media including a monthly two-hour call-in show in Columbus Ohio, a bi-weekly 15 minute live television segment in Chicago, ABC World News Tonight, NBC's PM Magazine and the Sally Jessy Raphael Show. In all, Dr. Bob has logged over 3,500 hours on radio and television.
