Veterinary & Aquatic Services Department, Drs. Foster & Smith

Stanozolol is an anabolic steroid that is used in veterinary medicine to increase appetite, cause weight gain, and treat certain types of anemia. Use with extreme CAUTION in cats. It can cause severe liver disease. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences depression, vomiting, or jaundice (yellowing of the gums, skin, and whites of the eyes), or swelling while being treated with stanozolol.
