Thiabendazole/Neomycin/Dexamethasone (Tresaderm®)
Veterinary & Aquatic Services Department, Drs. Foster & Smith

Tresaderm is a topical ointment used for dogs, cats, and other pets. It contains three active ingredients. Thiabendazole is an antifungal agent. Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid. Neomycin is an antibiotic. The combination is used for the treatment of inflammation and bacterial and dermatophyte fungal infections (ringworm) of the ear and skin. In rare instances, an animal may be sensitive to neomycin, causing redness in the area the medication was applied. If your pet is experiencing this, contact your veterinarian.
