Emodepside plus praziquantel (Profender Spot-On for Cats) is used to treat or prevent roundworm, hookworm and tapeworm infestations in cats. It is applied to the skin. Do NOT give orally. Side effects may include drooling and vomiting. In addition, tremors may be seen in cases of an overdose or toxicity. If you know or suspect your pet has had an overdose, or if you observe any of these signs in your pet, contact your veterinarian immediately. Do not use in kittens under 8 weeks of age or weighing less than 1.1 pounds. Do not use in kittens/cats that are sick, debilitated, or underweight unless the benefits outweigh the risks. Do not smoke, eat or drink during application. Wash hands after use. Women of child-bearing potential should avoid contact with, or wear disposable gloves when administering the product. Children should not have prolonged contact with treated a cat during the first 24 hours after application of the product.
